Villa M6 in Salema
The Villa M6 is located in a quiet residential area above the small village of Salema with a beautiful view over palm trees and the sea. It is only a few minutes' walk to the village center and the house beach Praia da Salema (600m).
The rooms are tastefully furnished and each has its own terrace. All poolside rooms have sea views. There is a well equipped shared kitchen with separate refrigerators. A large garden extends around the entire villa and invites you to relax with some shaded areas and a Moroccan corner.
Salema is an old fishing village in the west of the Algarve, between Sagres (17 km) and Lagos (19 km) and about 100 km from Faro airport. Here you can spend a quiet holiday by the sea, e.g. on the local beach Praia de Salema with its small promenade, which has not yet been taken over by mass tourism. In the immediate neighborhood are the natural beaches Praia da Figueira and Praia do Zavial, which can be reached by car or with a nice hike over the cliffs directly from Salema. Restaurants, shops and bicycle rentals are also in the area.
The western Algarve is particularly popular for leisure activities such as surfing, diving, stand up paddle boarding, boat trips, cycling, hiking, etc. There are numerous providers close by.

Ameneties
All rooms have a small terrace with table and chairs as well as TV and internet connection. In the breakfast room you will find cooking stoves, cooking utensilies and fridges to keep your own food and drink. A small selection of coffee, tea, spices, muesli and flakes is available for you. You can sit there togethether to talk, play, eat and drink. In the small library you will find something to read or you relax by the pool or in the garden.

Tips for getting there
You are flying to Faro international airport. Flights are offered by Lufthansa, Ryanair, EasyJet and Eurowings.
With a hired car
To hire a car is advisable as most beautiful beaches are not within reach by public transport.
You can hire a car at Marinacar.
Directions
From Faro airport, take the A22 motorway towards Portimão. You leave the motorway at exit number 1 in the direction of Lagos, Vila do Bispo. At the second roundabout, turn right onto National Road 125 towards Vila do Bispo/Sagres.
After approx. 16 km on the N 125 you will reach the roundabout. Take the exit here for Figueiras, not Salema! After about 800 m now take the first road left to Salema.
When you reach Salema, there is a steep descent down the mountain. Then take the first left (see sign from local market). Go straight, there is a steep climb. The road splits at the top and you turn right. After 50m Villa M6 is on your left.
By bus and rail
Buses at Faro airport drive around every hour to Faro bus terminal and railway station. From there you have connection by rail or bus to Lagos. In Lagos you have connection by bus to Salema.
By taxi
A ride by taxi from Faro to Salema costs around 120,- EUR.
